If you find yourself in a situation where you see no other way out than to complain, e.g. about a neighbor, the housing company or the moving bill, here's how to do it. A complaint must always be in writing - you can submit it to Haderslev Boligselskab here on this page.
You want to complain about the consumption account
If you do not agree to consumption account, you can object. In other words, you can complain.
Please note the following:
- The complaint must be submitted within six weeks of receiving the statement.
- In the complaint, you must describe precisely which points of the consumption account you disagree with.

If you do not agree with the final moving bill, you can object – that is, complain.
Please note the following:
- The complaint must be in writing and personal
- In your objection, you must clearly specify the areas in the moving settlement that you disagree with.

You want to complain about the neighbor
If you want to complain about a neighbor who, for example, does not comply with the house rules, it must be done in writing.
However, first try to talk to your neighbor and see if you can resolve your disagreement yourself. If that doesn't work, talk to the department board or service center before complaining.
A formal complaint process can be both long and unpleasant, and cases can often be resolved both faster and better if you talk to each other at an early stage.
If it still ends with a complaint, it is good to be aware of the following:
- Several people can file a complaint together. It will strengthen your case if you get one or more co-signers/witnesses to your complaint.
- The complaint must be precise. It must be clear who you are complaining about, what they have done, and where and when it happened.
- If you have complained before and it has not helped, you should complain again and you should not wait too long to do so. Complaints are usually closed after about three months.
- It is noted that complainants cannot be guaranteed anonymity in advance. Even when the case is processed internally in Haderslev Boligselskab and administered housing organizations, the person being complained about will be able to be informed where the information in the complaint case originates.
