Rent

As a resident of Haderslev Boligselskab, you can pay your rent in two ways, through Betalingsservice or with a payment card – and always on the 1st of a month.
It is an advantage that the payment is processed automatically via Betalingsservice. Read why here.

Payment deadline

The rent must be paid on the 1st of the month – if the 1st is not a weekday, the deadline is the next weekday (cf. Act on the Rental of Public Housing No. 517 of 05.06.2012.)

Payment card or Betalingservice

As a new tenant, you will receive a payment slip with your rental contract, which you must pay via online banking/bank/post office. You can then sign up for Betalingsservice – either below, or you can have your bank sign up – so that your rent will be deducted automatically and on time in the future, so you don't have to think about it anymore. You will also pay less in fees than if you pay via payment slip.

You can get a new payment card by contact Customer Service via this contact form.

If you don't pay the rent

If you do not pay rent and thus do not comply with your lease, the landlord can either cancel or terminate the lease agreement depending on the specific circumstances.

  • If the rental agreement is terminated, you must move out of your apartment immediately.
  • If the rental agreement is terminated, you must move out of your apartment with the notice stated in your rental agreement – typically three months.
  • In both cases, you must pay rent until the apartment is rented out again, but for a maximum of three months.
