At Honnørkajen in Haderslev is the new construction of 95 new modern family homes completed and the apartments are taken in use. OUR HISTORY
Haderslev Boligselskab is a non-profit housing company. Founded as a subsidiary of the Danish Association in 1965. At the moment, the company 1420 apartments in Haderslev, divided into 15 departments. Housing types are varied and range from student housing family homes and homes for the elderly. A part of these homes are located in the old beautifully modernized houses in Haderslevs centre, which Slotsgade 31 has received the Europa Nostra prize for its fine renovation.

The department's outdoor space has many qualities: the proximity to the forest, the good orientation in relation to sunlight, clear and protective boundaries of the courtyards via the blocks angled location, good parking and more. In connection with the conversion of the blocks along the Brombærvej, added up to a changed road, which simultaneously provides the opportunity to raise the terrain so as to achieve level access to the homes.

In connection with the preparation of the master plan, residents, the board and the building committee has contributed with their knowledge about the area. As a part of the future-orientation is established 17 new closed stairways with elevators.

Apartments by these stairways have to be converted so that they become more accessible by the use of ex. walkers or wheelchairs. In addition, 6 smaller apartments are converted to 3 large rooms for families. There will be new windows/patio doors, and new roof on all homes. The facades will be partially be renovated for building damage, and district heating pipes is changed in the terrain.

The project is pre-approved by the national building fund and of Haderslev Municipality. This means that the rent is going to increase for all homes.
